Project Subsidies for the Professional Arts

Are you a professional artist looking to apply for project funding? Starting in 2026, you can do so through the new project subsidies.

The new scheme is intended for makers, artists, creatives, organizations, and collectives in the municipality of Amsterdam, from emerging to experienced applicants across all disciplines, genres, and sectors. It supports a wide range of projects and activities that can be seen or experienced in the city. These may include exhibitions, performances, festivals, community and participatory projects, nightlife culture, and visual art in public space. You can also apply for funding for research and experimentation, artistic development (replacing the former stipend), and the development of visual art in public space.
