Luca Conte

Luca Gerry Conte is an artist, gastronome and storyteller. His research aims at unfolding the work’s life in space and time, while channeling a multi sensorial experience that informs an ecological consciousness within a lived space.
Food is a central catalyst that works both as a medium and a research subject. For Luca, it is a site of material, social, and poetic transformation. Through gastronomy, he activates everyday contexts and invites subtle engagements that draw attention to the ordinary as extraordinary. Each encounter requires a small effort, a moment of friction with the audience, to open pathways for narrative and
connection. Underlying his practice there is an alchemic process, a quiet, ongoing research into transformation: of matter, of meaning, of self.
