Noor de Vries

Noor de Vries (Amsterdam, 1997) is a researcher, video artist and film programmer with a background in philosophy. She wonders for whom the city was built, what drives people to gather in movements and communities, and what disrupts them in doing so. In her practice the archive functions as a point of departure, but she is also inspired by walking through the city and by immersing herself in political theory, film and current events. Together these elements form her research and thus the basis of her video essays and publications.
