Tulipa’s Society Amsterdam and Teatro Munganga warmly invite you to a series of traditional singing and drumming workshops, along with gatherings dedicated to sharing knowledge about Brazilian Candomblé and the tradition of priestesses.

Dear community of singers, artists, activists, and everyone who supports the continuity of diverse knowledges and peoples on this planet,

We invite you to join CÍRCULO 2025 — a space for traditional chanting and drumming workshops, community gatherings, and cultural exchange.

Throughout April and May in Amsterdam, we will celebrate the long lineage of priestesses who have preserved oral and musical traditions, deeply connected to decolonial struggles and the cosmological permanence of ancestral knowledge in resistance to cultural domination.

Our program includes a workshop series oriented to women and non-binary people, and two public events open to all, where we will explore artistic and educational activities around Brazilian Candomblé.
