Max Pickkers

Max Pickkers is a theatre maker who likes to explore different types of theatre. He grew up in the neighbourhood of Osdorp, in multicultural Amsterdam. Since he was young, he has had a fascination for various cultures and their differences and similarities. He enjoys discovering their norms and values, languages, and art and what the culture means for people's identity. He has always felt like a chameleon: constantly adapting to his changing environment.

This year Max will focus on developing his skills as a comedian, rapper and storyteller. He wants to combine hip-hop and humor to tell stories, while making fun of himself and his surroundings.
